For over 35 years, Dr. Raphael Mechoulam and his team at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem have been discovering the power of medical cannabis and its scientific properties. As the pioneering researcher in the cannabis field, he and his team continue to make strides, advancing the understanding of cannabis and helping millions of people, worldwide.
Courtagen Life Sciences and Medicinal Genomics are proud to partner with Dr. Raphael Mechoulam and his lab team. A portion of the CannMed 2017 conference proceeds is designated to support the research projects in their laboratory. At present the team is focusing on the chemistry of endogenous cannabinoids, specifically isolation, structure elucidation, and synthesis. Dr. Mechoulam’s team is also investigating the synthesis of novel compounds to be tested as drugs against pain, inflammation, high blood pressure and cancer.

CannMed attendees can join us and contribute to supporting Dr. Mechoulam’s lab at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, during the registration process. 100% of all attendee contributions (minus credit card fees) will be given to the university for the purpose of funding the lab needs.
