Basimha James is a Critical Care RN, approaching a decade of working at the bedside of patients. Through her personal struggles as a Medical Cannabis patient, she realized the need for more community education not just on cannabis as medicine but also on how to safely incorporate it into Western medical practices to improve quality of life. To meet this need, she founded CanNEWbis LLC as a Cannabis Nurse and started The B3 Movement. Mrs. James aims to provide education, awareness, resources, and support to those often overlooked and underserved while breaking down barriers in the healthcare system, and she looks forward to sharing her insights with you today.
