Program Overview

Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS) remains a poorly understood and often misdiagnosed condition. This panel will explore the emerging science behind CHS, including key symptoms, risk factors, and treatment strategies. Panelists will discuss a pre-published survey of over 1100 participants, evaluating symptom patterns and patient experiences to help improve recognition and care.

TOPICS COVERED

  • Recognizing hallmark symptoms and clinical presentation of CHS

  • Potential risk factors, including cannabinoid profiles, frequency of use, and individual susceptibility

  • Treatment approaches, including supportive care, cannabinoid cessation, and harm reduction

  • Findings from a pre-published survey on CHS symptoms and patterns of onset

  • Controversies and unanswered questions: Is it pesticides, ECS disregulation, or something else?
