Mo Smyth, BSN, RN began her 20-year nursing career establishing deep, consistent patient connections caring for spinal cord-injured veterans in Boston. Her perspective transformed over the next 15 years as a travel nurse, embedding her on the front lines of the U.S. healthcare system.

Working diverse jobs — from world-renowned centers like UCSF to serving the Navajo Nation during the COVID crisis—Mo recognized three critical, undeniable truths: the U.S. healthcare system is in crisis, the general population is aging poorly, and Big Pharma and insurance companies prioritize profits over patients. This stark reality—that Americans were growing sicker, not healthier, despite soaring costs—ignited her current mission.

Mo pivoted beyond symptom management to alternative approaches to wellness that address root causes. This search led her to the healing potential of the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) and to found Cannabis Public School (CPS) in 2022. As a Certified Continuing Education Provider for nurses, Mo now empowers individuals with evidence-based education for whole-body health.
