Ben Boo is the VP of Cultivation at Vireo Health, where he leads cultivation teams across the US, many of which are about to transition from medical-only to adult-use legalization. As a crop, cannabis is severely limited in access to laboratory analysis, universal guidelines, and peer-reviewed literature. Ben has responded to these limitations with in-house experimentation and analysis of different nutrient and irrigation regimes, biological control agents, and environmental management parameters to advance the quality of Vireo's product. A lifelong student, Ben holds a Bachelor's in horticulture from the University of Minnesota, and is pursuing a Master's in remote sensing from Oregon State University.
