The anti-cancer activity of cannabinoids against ovarian cancer involves the Wnt pathway
To examine the effectiveness of combinations of cannabis compounds against ovarian cancer toward development of new cannabis-based medical products.
Cannabis sativa is widely used to alleviate numerous symptoms associated with medical conditions. Ovarian cancer (OC) is the most lethal gynecologic malignancy in the western world. Phytocannabinoids have been shown to have anticancer activity in a number of cancers, but only a few studies have examined the effectiveness of cannabis compounds against OC.

Prof. Koltai's research is focused on identification of optimal compositions of cannabis-derived molecules (API) to treat different medical indications.
