To examine the effectiveness of combinations of cannabis compounds against ovarian cancer toward development of new cannabis-based medical products.
Cannabis sativa is widely used to alleviate numerous symptoms associated with medical conditions. Ovarian cancer (OC) is the most lethal gynecologic malignancy in the western world. Phytocannabinoids have been shown to have anticancer activity in a number of cancers, but only a few studies have examined the effectiveness of cannabis compounds against OC.
