Rebecca is responsible for the Company’s overall vision and operational strategy. She believes in educated guidance on plant-based medicine, alternative therapies, supplemental treatments, and support in navigating a complex health system. She is a registered nurse with 15 years of experience in emergency medicine, critical care, healthcare policy, case management, and healthcare utilization and resource allocation. Rebecca was a nursing doctoral candidate at Northern Illinois University, now deferred to grow Plesio Health. Her groundbreaking, patented, focused research is cannabis science and the integration of cannabis into traditional healthcare systems with a nursing model. Rebecca received her BSN with a minor in Biology and Communications from Saint Xavier University and was the first in her family to graduate from college.
Additionally, she was board-certified in critical care (CCRN) by The American Association of Critical Care Nursing. She was awarded a continuing education scholarship from National Nurses United to Rutgers University’s Women’s Global Health Leadership program. She is also a recipient of the Illinois Nurses Association 40 under 40 Leaders in Nursing Award. Rebecca is a member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association.
Rebecca lives in Chicago with her husband, two children, and a pet turtle. Rebecca enjoys reading, puzzles, and supporting the arts.
