Scott is the co-founder and COO of Open Book Extracts (OBX), an NSF cGMP- and ISO 9001- certified total solution provider for the cannabinoid industry, delivering premium products, exceptional service, and industry-leading transparency. Prior to OBX, Scott was the President & COO of The Clinic, a Colorado-based vertical cannabis company which expanded nationally during his tenure at the company, a time period when the U.S. market grew from a single state to a 20+ state legal cannabis market. Preceding his eight-year career in the cannabis/hemp industry, Scott spent the first 13 years of his career performing turnaround and problem resolution services for operating companies and real estate assets throughout the U.S. secured by institutional debt, distressed debt acquisition, and principal real estate development of mixed-use urban in-fill projects.
