Shanetha Lewis is the Founder of Veterans Initiative 22, a national nonprofit dedicated to improving mental health access, suicide prevention, and holistic care for veterans. She serves as Chair of the Regulations & Governance Committee for the Maryland Task Force on Responsible Use of Psychedelics, where she helps shape policy frameworks for safe, equitable, and veteran-centered psychedelic access. Shanetha brings a powerful combination of policy leadership, lived-experience advocacy, and systems-level reform expertise to the future of trauma-informed care.
