Vernon is the Director of R&D at Cambium Analytica leading an ambitious team of experienced scientists to advance analytical and formulation technology for pharmacopeial articles of botanical origin. His current research interests focus on analysis/formulation methods for cannabis and other botanical medicines. He obtained a BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Michigan State University supplemented by two years of laboratory research experience in cell biology and molecular immunology. After gaining several years of analytical chemistry R&D experience in the cGMP pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, Vernon pursued his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Michigan followed by three years of international postdoctoral research in bioengineering and materials science.
