BIO

Bill Graham, has spent more than three decades working at the intersection of horticulture, plant biotechnology, and controlled-environment agriculture. His work focuses on developing practical tools and techniques that help cultivators propagate healthier plants, protect valuable genetics, and scale cultivation with greater consistency.

Bill is the founder of Microclone, a company dedicated to making plant tissue culture accessible to growers and commercial cultivators. Early in his career in the Norcal to global hydroponics industry, he became interested in the potential of micropropagation to solve some of the most persistent challenges facing growers—pathogen elimination, genetic preservation, and reliable large-scale propagation.

Through Microclone, Bill has developed tissue culture systems and propagation kits that bring laboratory-grade plant science into practical cultivation environments. Much of his work has focused on applying micropropagation protocols to cannabis, helping producers maintain elite genetics while reducing the spread of pests and diseases.

Bill has also contributed to several innovations in the indoor cultivation industry, including nutrient formulations lighting technologies and air scrubbers used by growers worldwide. He authored the tissue culture propagation section of the Cannabis Grower's Handbook by Ed Rosenthal, helping introduce these techniques to a broader cultivation audience.

Today, Bill continues to work with cultivators, researchers, and laboratories to bridge the gap between plant science and commercial production.
